Tonight I came across this quote from Martin Luther King Jr.:
“We must live together as brothers or perish together as
fools”.
Interestingly I came across that while read Ross Jackson’s
new book, “Occupy World Street: A Global Roadmap for Radical Economic and Political Reform” in which he discussed a friend’s attendance at the Copenhagen Climate Conference in
December 2009.
In answer to a question as to why obvious solutions
to climate change had not been discussed, his friend said that negotiators
claimed “They are not politically feasible.”
A shocked Jackson asked: “What does that mean? Does it
mean that it is not politically feasible to save our civilization?
