We have just 50 months to save the world.
The Guardian newspaper “interactive” about the matter
warrants our contemplation.
The newspaper says we have just 50 months to go before the
dice become loaded against us in terms of keeping under two degree temperature
rise.
Interestingly, the global temperature increase over
pre-industrial levels is now just .8 of a degree and already the world is
experiencing devastating weather events.
The available documentation and science illustrates conclusively
that the much discussed two degree increase is already cast in stone and some
are now considering how the people of the world learn to live with a four
degree increase.
