Feeding a billion hungry people

Writing in New Matilda, Ben Eltham has asked that question: “How do we feed a billion hungry people?”

Eltham asks the question in view of the world’s changing climate and in view of a legacy of bad agricultural policies.

After a long discussion, Eltham says: “All in all, there’s no easy option. After decades of food surpluses, the world became complacent, to our cost. Now we’re playing catch up”.
