Climate change unfolding as predicted 22 years ago

The ABC reports that climate change is unfolding as climate scientists warned more than 20 years.

In a story headed: “Climate change conforming to UN predictions: scientists”, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) had forecast the rate at which temperatures would rise over a 40-year period.

The ABC story quotes a report published in the journal, Nature Climate Change, which says that at the halfway mark, the rate of warming is consistent with the original predictions.
