Community gardens have been in conversation mix among those
who gather each month Beneath the
Wisteria and so it is interesting to
watch (virtually at least) such a garden being created behind the Kawana Library at Buddina on Queensland’s
Sunshine Coast.
Elise Barry initiated the idea and worked with a team of
enthusiastic volunteers to bring the gardens to fruition and to the point that
they now are a place where people plant and harvest their vegetables.
Watch the video and you will notice that chooks are a part
of the working garden. Check out the Buddina Community Garden.
