'Slap Tomorrow - A Wake-Up Call' launched


Slap Tomorrow – A Wake-Up Call” was launched yesterday (April 3).

About 30 people gathered in Shepparton’s Queen’s Gardens to hear the City of Greater Shepparton Mayor, Cr Jenny Houlihan, launch he Thursday, June 6, forum.

Cr Houlihan congratulated the Slap Tomorrow committee for raising the profile of the climate change conversation.

The event attracted most of the local media and on independent observer commented that it was great privilege to be at an event that may be seen in 100 years as the moment when the conversation about understanding and drawing the opportunities from climate change was ignited in the Goulburn Valley.

A brochure aimed at promoting the event to potential supporters of the forum was handed out.
