Good sense appears to
have finally prevailed in Warsaw.
Negotiators from about 195
countries have reached consensus on some of the cornerstones of an ambitious
climate pact to combat global warming, according to an ABC.
The story, headed “Warsaw climate talks: Principles of global deal agreed on after deadlock over'contributions'”, says the new deal would a patchwork of contributions to curb
global emissions.
