Another letter from Beneath the Wisteria supporter

Beneath the Wisteria supporter, Graham Parton, has again written to The Age.
Here is his latest letter:

With support for an Australian Republic at an all-time low it’s probably timely to examine some of the views of our future King, particularly in relation to climate change.
Prince Charles has described
climate change deniers
as the "headless chicken
brigade".

In a recent speech when he was awarding the inaugural Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Prize, Prince Charles described climate change deniers as the “headless chicken brigade”.

He went on to say "It is baffling, I must say, that in our modern world we have such blind trust in science and technology that we all accept what science tells us about everything – until, that is, it comes to climate science.

"All of a sudden, and with a barrage of sheer intimidation, we are told by powerful groups of deniers that the scientists are wrong and we must abandon all our faith in so much overwhelming scientific evidence.”

I take this as a rebuke for our Prime Minister who is in the uncomfortable position of being both a Monarchist and a headless chook.
