According to Andrew
Stock, a Councillor with the Climate Council, Australia is one of the world's
top 10 emitters of carbon dioxide from electricity and heat production.

The worst contributor to greenhouse gas emissions is
fossil-fuelled electricity generation. Andrew Stock suggests that we need to
plan for the future, as our electricity sector is ageing and inefficient.
