Bunbartha climate activist features in People's March film

Slap Tomorrow president and Beneath the Wisteria supporter, John Pettigrew, features in this YouTube clip of the Melbourne Climate Peoples’ March earlier this year.

John, a former orchardist from Bunbartha, just north of Shepparton, was one of several speakers who addressed the large crowd that gather after the march in Melbourne’s Treasury Gardens.

The Debra Chant produced short movie – Melbourne marches for climate change, gives a good sense of what happened at the march and reflects the mood that swept the world on that day.

As powerful as the march was and the massive numbers involved, this expression of concern appears to have passed unnoticed by those who make decisions in the world.
