Beautiful and
wonderful” were the words used by agricultural scientist, Dr John Williams,
when talking about “The Sixth Extinction”.
His observations came during an interview with the author of
“The Sixth Extinction”, Elizabeth Kolbert, at last year’s Melbourne Writers’
Festival.
Ms Kolbert and scientist Dr Williams explore the science
surrounding climate change, the effects of land clearing and agriculture, and
their impact on the planet’s biodiversity, and eventual survival.
