Despite dispute about need, new electic cars continue to arrive

any dispute the need for motor cars at all, suggesting all innovation and development should be in the creation of an efficient public transit system.

However, that broad sense of what is in effect social justice has not impeded the majoring motor manufacturers, among them Mercedes Benz, which has just unveiled a new plug-in SUV.

Clean-Technica  reports:  “Another new electric vehicle (EV) offering from the German automaker Mercedes-Benz was recently unveiled, following the recent GLE 550 e plug-in SUV reveal. In this latest case, the company showed off the new GLC 350 e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid SUV.

“The new PHEV is part of the new second generation of the mid-range GLC SUV platform, and features improved fuel efficiency owing to improved drive systems, reduced weight, amongst other things.”
