The challenge is to connect today's pollution to the future

T

he future, in relation to climate change, starts now.

Prof Daphna Oyserman - thinking
 about when the future starts.
Daphna Oyserman gave the question a different emphasis asking it in relation to studies at school and found a clear answer.

The Dean’s Professor of Psychology, and Professor of Psychology, Education, and Communication at the University of Southern California said, “Even though the future starts later, the way to get going and keep going is to make the future feel connected to the present and hence requiring of immediate and persistent action.”

Considering Professor Oyserman’s findings, those of us concerned about climate change need to make the pollution of today relate directly to and be connected to our future.
