The more that is privatized, the worse global warming
becomes and along with that the more embedded it becomes with the worsening of
humanity’s future and the entrenched civilizational risks.
That worsening of global warming and its inherent risks seem
to escape those who see humanity’s salvation in even more privatization, along
with a continuing burgeoning economy that must grow or die.
And now Kentucky Senator and Republican U.S. presidential
candidate Rand Paul has called for the federal government to sell off and
privatize America’s national forests and other public lands.
