Fegus takes his climate knowledge first to Melbourne and now Adelaide

F
ergus Green from the London School of Economics was among the speakers at the recent two-day University of Melbourne symposium entitled “Paris and Beyond: Climate and Energy Pathways for Australia and Europe”.

Fergus Green - his work
with Nicholas Stern has
given him an intimate
understanding of
climate change.
And now Fergus, who was frequently in Shepparton visiting his grandparents in his late teens, early 20s, will be one of five speakers at a major South Australian conference on Wednesday, November 4.

Fergus brings to the SA conference an intimate understanding of climate change as he was a research and policy adviser to Professor Nicholas Stern who assembled a 700-page report, “Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change” for the British government in 2006.

Other speakers at the Adelaide event will be the Premier of SA, Jay Weatherill; Regional Director South Australia, WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff, Dr David Cruickshanks-Boyd; Chief Executive, SA Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources, Sandy Pitcher; and the Director RiAus, Dr Paul Willis.

Details of the event - “International Climate Change Update.”
