Marching in Melbourne tonight, meeting in the mall tomorrow

Beneath the Wisteria supporters and their friends from the Shepparton-based Slap Tomorrow will be at Melbourne’s “People’s Climate March” tonight and back
in Shepparton’s Maude St Mall tomorrow morning.

“Yes, nature never rests”, Beneath the Wisteria convenor Robert McLean says, “and so those of us eager to see a more active and positive response to climate change must also never rest.”

Tomorrow’s gathering Beneath the Wisteria at 11:00am will allow those who attend tonight Melbourne march to reflect on that event and broadly talk about events at the Paris United Nations climate conference.

Some public seating is available for tomorrow’s gathering at the northern end of the mall, but those planning to attend are encouraged to bring a folding chair.

People with any questions about getting to tonight’s Melbourne march (we are car-pooling from the Riverside shopping centre, near Harvey Norman’s entrance) at 1:45pm for a 2:00pm departure to enable connection with a train from Seymour.
