Melbourne hot and dry until Thursday - The Age

Temperatures around Victoria are climbing above 30 degrees ahead of a warm spell to start the week. Monday is set to be a scorcher, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting a maximum temperature of 35 degrees.

The heat is expected to stick around until Thursday when a cool change will hit much of the state, bringing showers and cloudy conditions with it.

Wednesday is forecast to be the hottest day this week, with temperatures in Melbourne peaking at 38 degrees.
