Tatura Transition Towns is staging a “Practical Living Trail”, to become an integral part of the annual state-wide festival and so Beneath the Wisteria is moving its meeting spot for a month.
The gathering in Saturday, February 27, still at 11:00am,
will be at Tatura’s Stuart Mock Place in the town’s main street.
Those planning to attend should being a folding chair as
there is uncertainty about what seating is, or will be available.
Beyond the change in venue, all remains as usual – the gathering
is free, last for about an hour and those attending are encouraged with them
their thoughts about how communities and individuals should respond to climate
change.
A host of events are planned for the “Practical Living Trail”, including a sustainable building forum starting at 12:30pm at the
Mechanics Institute Hall in Tatura’s Hogan St.
