Victoria's record breaking start with warmest ever March

Victorians resorted to many water
 sport-type activities to
help them endure the record March heat.
It's been a record-breaking start to autumn in Victoria, with the warmest March in 107 years.

The balmy conditions have swept throughout the state with many areas recording the highest temperature and warmest night on record since 1910.

And April doesn't look like getting any cooler either.

Bureau of Meteorology climatologist Rob Smalley said the transition to normal autumn weather had been delayed.
