| Drought-stricken central-west Queensland receives best rain in three years. |
The unseasonable wet weather is a welcome relief to many
graziers in the region, after disappointing falls across summer.
Louise Cameron from Glenferrie Station east of Ilfracombe
measured 70 millimetres of rain on Tuesday.
"It was brilliant. I just kept waking through the
night, numerous times, thinking 'Oh my gosh, there's still a good constant
drizzle on the roof'," she said.
