Wild weather from another east coast low

The wild weather from the east coast low is not
expected to be as destructive as previous
storms in early June but may still cause flash flooding.
New South Wales residents are bracing for another wet weekend as an east coast low moves through the state’s south coast.

The low is forecast to hit on Sunday morning and intensify over the course of the day, bringing heavy rainfall and winds of 65km/h.

The wild weather is not expected to be as destructive as previous storms in early June but may still cause flash flooding.

Severe weather warnings have been issued in the Illawarra and south coast regions and 13 river valleys have been placed on flood watch.

“People living or working along rivers and creeks must monitor the latest weather forecasts and warnings and be ready to move to higher ground,” the State Emergency Service said on Saturday.

And The Sunshine Coast Daily reports: “Flood, wind warnings as Coast braces for a drenching.”
