Much has been said about water, but without it rural
Australia would be a shadow of what it is today.
Many things stake their claim for a rural person’s attention,
but nothing has the capacity of water to focus interest and raise controversy.
And with climate change tightening its grip on the world,
water, its distribution and availability is a “life-issue” of heightened importance.
