Deadly Northern California wildfire claims more lives

Redding: Three more people have died in a devastating wildfire in Northern California as it continued to spread on Saturday, threatening new communities as firefighters struggle to keep up.

Sherry Bledsoe said her two children, 5-year-old James Roberts and 4-year-old Emily Roberts, and her 70-year-old grandmother, Melody Bledsoe, were killed. Their deaths brought the total number of people killed in the Carr fire to five. A firefighter and a bulldozer operator have also died.

Redding police confirmed that they had received a missing persons report on Bledsoe and the two children.
