Each of us need to do what we can to broaden society’s grasp of the seriousness of climate change.
And, be that not much, then we should do it.
The Waste Education officer from the City of Greater Shepparton, Hilary Grigg, spoke at the recent Tatura Transition Towns film festival and encouraged people to do “just one thing” in an effort to counter the city’s wast problems.
Our response to climate change needs to be similar.
The problem is so large and complex that it understandable appears overwhelming and beyond that capability of any individual, and it is.
Subsequently, to find some resolution to climate change, each of us needs to do what we can, apply what talents we have, what skills we have, and what resources we have.
With that in mind, I pursued the idea of a podcast and so have set up “Climate Conversations” and the first two episodes are now live.
Climate Conversations is an adjunct to this blog and hopefully it will allow me to talk with a host of people who have different insights about how we can best deal with the evolving difficulties arising from climate change.
It is clearly obvious to me that my forte is asking questions, rather than making statements, or observations.
I intend to post new episodes of “Climate Conversations” at least weekly and maybe more often if a time-critical matter presents itself.
Please subscribe, it costs nothing and one subscribed you will be alerted each time I post a new episode.
