One of Australia's most experienced climate change researchers says he doesn't think this extra funding will help Australia reach its Paris targets.

ANU Professor, Will Steffen, is a councillor with the Climate Institute, a member of the ACT Climate Change Council and was science advisor to the Australian Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency from 2004 to 2011.
