Chance of sunshine, rain, hail and snow

Bring out the hats, shorts and sunscreen … But don’t forget your raincoats and umbrellas, either.

In true Melbourne style, we will be warm on Wednesday, hot on Thursday, and then layering on the clothes just in time for the weekend.

And for good measure, we can expect some hail in Melbourne and snow on the alps in Victoria’s high country at the weekend.

Wednesday is expected to reach a top of 27 degrees with the mercury climbing even higher to 32 degrees on Thursday, thanks to a high pressure system dominating our weather.
