Climate change tackled

Goulburn Valley Water plans to install solar systems on its land and infrastructure in Shepparton to tackle climate change.

GV Water will be rolling out solar systems across sites in 10 towns, including Kilmore, Cobram and Mansfield to help the Victorian Government reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

The organisation’s managing director Peter Quinn said it had committed to investing $5.39 million to the initiative.
