Hundreds of activists were again positioned outside the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) on Wednesday morning, stationed at different entrances to the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre.

At one car park entrance, a woman glued herself to the road. Elsewhere, protesters had minor scuffles with police, including officers on horseback. Police have also used pepper spray.
There were fewer protesters on Wednesday morning than Tuesday, which was the opening day of the conference.
