‘Salt in the wounds': Fire victim's friend outraged by Barnaby Joyce’s comments

Barnaby Joyce’s comments that victims of the devastating NSW bushfires were likely Greens voters have been described as “absolutely disgraceful” by friends of one of the men who died.

Barnaby Joyce says two bushfire victims "most likely" voted for the Greens.
As dozens of fires burned out-of-control across NSW on Tuesday, the former deputy prime minister took to Sky News, where he hypothesised the voting histories of two of the three people killed over the weekend.
Mr Joyce also criticised the Greens for arguing the “spurious links” between the unprecedented fires ravaging the state and climate change.
