According to the BOM's seasonal outlook, Parkes, Forbes, Cowra, Grenfell, Young, Cootamundra, Boorowa and Harden all have a 75 to 80 per cent chance of a higher than average minimum median temperature.

They also have a 60 to 65 per cent chance of a higher than average maximum median temperature.
This outlook comes off the back of a warmer than average summer across NSW and while it wasn't record-breaking for Cowra, both the mean summer maximum temperature and average summer minimum temperature were up on the average.
