That's what leads Christine Havill to a large fruit and vegetable market once a fortnight to fill her basket with produce that is cheaper and lasts longer than that on offer at the supermarket.
"I think you can find reasonable prices if you shop around. If you’re a clever shopper the food is good and the price is not bad," Havill says.
"The meat and the other produce at the market here is really good value.”
