The 'greenwash' of Earth Hour explained


Read this and maybe your opinion of the much acclaimed “Earth Hour” may change, or at least your view of some of it biggest supporters.

Writing on the ABC’s “The Drum” Guy Pearse said
in a story headed: “Environmental absolution one greenwash at a time” that: “Far from representing a great social movement, Earth Hour is an opportunity for the most culpable to absolve themselves”.

He compares the idea of “Earth Hour” with “Quit Hour”.
