The evidence is in, it is clear and the conversation should no longer be about whether or not human induced climate change is real and happening, rather how we go about addressing the significant and certain societal differences we face.

The reality of climate change has never been an issue since Beneath the Wisteria was established at the end of 2011, but towards the end of last year, 2012, the supporters who gathered each month to consider their response felt as if they were simply “talking to themselves”.

Considering that, the group agreed to organize a major public speaking event at which the present situation would be explained and the how individuals and the community could proceed.

In light of what has been happening recently in Australia, and with world, along with the findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) presently meeting in Hobart, the 800 seats at Shepparton’s Eastbank auditorium should fill quickly.
