Not the cause, but certainly worsened the result

Was climate change directly responsible to the massive typhoon presently ripping through the Philippines? Probably not, but be assured it made the event significantly worse, much worse.

Interestingly the incidence of such events appears to be worsening and that can be attributed to climate change.

A story on the ABC headed: “Deadly Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda lashes Philippines” described this as “the strongest typhoon of the year.
