Writing on
Weatherzone, Cath McAloon has warned us the “Weather models show El Nino risk increasing”.
She talks with the manager of climate prediction services at
the Bureau of Meteorology, Andrew Watkins, who says the most likely scenario is
for a continued weather pattern, but an El Nino is possible.
He suggested that if an El Nino does develop it could be
relatively weak, but still have severe impacts.
