Plea to PM to visit drought affected areas

Tony Abbott - asked to
confront reality.
Most Australians really don’t understand what drought means, nor does our Prime Minister, according to farmers and graziers in north-western New South Wales and large portions of Queensland.

Many on the land are struggling with what they describe as the worst drought in decades, and conditions are rapidly deteriorating.

Writing in a story headed: “Tony Abbott urged to visit NSW as drought sinks its teeth in” ABC Rural said extreme heat and continuing dry conditions sap any remaining moisture from the land.
