Slap Tomorrow has a
climate change/community health forum in March.
The idea appears increasingly relevant as the world, and
those who live upon it, begins to tremble.
Speakers from the Melbourne-based Climate and Health Alliance, and the Australian Youth Climate Coalition will speak at the Thursday,
March 27, forum.
Victoria’s Sustainability Commissioner, Professor Kate Auty,
will knit the event together as the master of ceremonies.
Published in the “Ecologist” website under the heading “Climate change is making the world sick” is a story declaring that it is climate change
that is making us sick.
Heatwaves are killing people, floods are drowning them,
artic-like storms are freezing them and hurricanes are blowing them, and human
infrastructure, away.
