The climate change
conversation is shifting from mitigation to resilience and adaptation.
Writing in the Telegraph,
an economist the Europe Economics and a member of the Shadow Monetary Policy
Committee, Andrew Lilico, said past debate had been futile and was now shifting
to a new phase.
Talk about mitigation was now pointless, he suggested and
people now needed to be discussing adaptation and resilience.
Lilico’s story headed: “Climate change: the debate is about to change radically” discusses the financial implications of mitigation and
adaptation.
