Man of myths wants review of fact-based organization

Maurice Newman - prefers myths to facts.

Yes, there is a bias in the Bureau of Meteorology and it seems the bureau favours facts as opposed to the myths upon which the prime minister’s business adviser, Maurice Newman, bases his decisions.

Mr Newman, who is a climate change sceptic, wants a government-funded review to ‘dispel suspicions of a warming bias’.

This propostion by Mr Newman was reported by The Guardian in a story headed: “Tony Abbott adviser calls for Bureau of Meteorology 'warming' inquiry”.

The Guardian reports: “Newman, who has repeatedly questioned the findings of mainstream climate science, wrote in an opinion piece for the Australian that the bureau needed to be investigated over allegations of “temperature manipulation.”
