Yes, the barbarians
are inside the gate.
And yes, it was the Australian public that held that gate
open for them and said at the 2013 election: “Come on in”.
Renewable energy is democratic and it appears our
neo-liberal government that abhors centralized control (so it says), prefers a
power system that is massively concentrated and driven by the arch-villain in
the climate change conversation, coal.
