Adams talks with Marshall about why people ignore climate change

Psychology for a Safe Climate is playing a key role
in George's visit and he will be the keynote
speaker at Melbourne's Sustainable Living Festival.
Phillip Adams has never ignored climate change and just last night (February 4) talked with George Marshal about why many people ignore humanity’s greatest threat.

The co-founder of the British activist group, Climate Outreach and Information Network (COIN) will soon be in Australia to talk about he has found.

And George is pre-eminently placed to discuss this dangerous dilemma as he researched the issue to write his 2014 book: “Don’t Even ThinkAbout It: Why Our Brains Are Wired To Ignore Climate Change”, a book he will be promoting while in Australia.

The Phillip Adams interview, “Ignoring climate change” appeared on Late Night Live on Radio National.

Promotion material for the interview said: “Why, despite overwhelming scientific evidence, do we still ignore climate change? In searching for the answer to this question, George Marshall spoke to some of the world's leading climate scientists, cognitive psychologists, liberal environmentalists and conservative evangelicals and activists of the Texas Tea Party. What he found were more questions than answers.”
