Australia’s Renewable
Energy Target (RET) has a simple goal, but one that is easily confused when it
is mythologized.
Those myths do little but confuse what is an important goal
for all Australians and make achievement of what is intended confusing and so
to the delight of some, especially those embedded in the fossil fuel industry.
The Climate Council
has set out to explain the basics of the RET in its report entitled: “Giga-what? Explaining Australia's Renewable Energy Target”.
