Climate change bigger threat than economic instability

ustralians are being stampeded into worrying about the economy and terrorism when the real catastrophe tightens its grip on the world and passes without formal recognition or comment.

Africans, Quartz Africa tells us, see climate change as clearly a greater threat to them than economic difficulties or likely violence from Isis or other similar groups.

According to a new survey from the Pew Research Center, “Almost 60% of Africans believe that climate change is the single-most important threat facing the continent. They place this issue above fears about the economy or terrorism”.
