Bank of England joins the chorus of concern about climate change

any argue that until climate change has a direct impact on their pocket, most people will ignore or deny it.

Increasingly, people of undeniable influence, importance and intelligence within the world’s financial industry are talking about the potential chaos climate change will bring to the world’s economy.

And just last month the Governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, has joined that chorus of concern and in a speech at Lloyds of London said, “There is a growing international consensus that climate change is unequivocal” and so there is “tragedy of the horizon”.
