Australian Government loose with the truth on climate achievements

The Australian Government repeatedly claims is has achieved, and easily beaten, its climate goals, but independent and authoritative organizations suggest otherwise.

Climate Action Tracker (CAT), an independent scientific analysis produced by four research organisations tracking Australian approach and global efforts towards the globally agreed aim of holding warming below 2°C, since 2009, is severely critical of what is happening in Australia.

It has said, “If most other countries followed the Australian approach, global warming would exceed 3–4°C.”
