Just how big can wind turbines get?

Renew Economy recently released an article on how large wind turbines can grow as engineers develop more efficient wind energy systems as climate change increases and fossil fuel dependency does not abate.

According to the article wind turbine size growth (as reported by K2 Management, the Danish wind power technology specialists) has been 48% since 1999 and the higher the turbine, the stronger the winds and the more constant and effective the wind supply is.
