Ted's eyes are on the prize, but he's not ready for the 'big dance'

Ted Cruz - living in the 20th Century.
Ted Cruz has his eyes on the prize – he wants to be the president of the United States of America; he wants to be the most powerful man in the world.

This man, the child of two mathematicians and scientists who subsequently has great faith in following the evidence, accuses climate change advocates of ignoring the science and being deeply imbedded in the idea of “government control of the energy sector and every aspect of our lives.”

Cruz had not yet made it to the “big dance” as first he has to win Republican pre-selection before he can contest the Presidential election against either, probably, Hilary Clinton or Bernie Sanders.

No doubt Cruz’s position and argument is, to him both cogent and reasonable in every sense for his is following “his evidence”; evidence that is viewed and presented through a rather distorted prism; and is evidence that appears to belong back in the middle decades of the 20th Century.
