Global waming to cost the world $2T in productivity

Global warming could cost the world economy more than $2 trillion by 2030 as the weather becomes too hot to work in certain areas of the globe, according to United Nations research.

The study, published Tuesday, showed that 20 percent of yearly work hours in Southeast Asia might already be squandered due to extreme heat exposure. The research says this figure may double by 2050.
