Victoria open to 'going it alone' on plastic bag ban if national deal not reached

Victoria is open to "going it alone" on a plastic bag ban if a national deal cannot be reached. 

Pressure is building on the Andrews government to eradicate plastic bags with some states already implementing bans and Victorian councils calling for change.
