Raising Children in a Climate Changed World: A discussion on parenting for sustainability

Ideas about raising children in a climate changed world will be discussed in a Melbourne seminar later this month.

The thought-provoking seminar by three psychologists/environmentalists will help psychologists, parents and parent educators think about the impact of climate change on children, and support children to deal with it now and into the future.

Presenters for the Tuesday, April 17 seminar will be Professor Ann Sanson, Dr Susie Burke and Professor Judith Van Hoorn.

The seminar will be held in the lecture room, on Level 9 of Victoria University city campus at 300 Flinders St, Melbourne from six o’clock through to 7:30 pm.

Co-sponsors are the Psychology for Safe Climate, Australian Psychological Society, Psychologists for Peace and College of Community Psychologists.
